We are experienced and trained to offer the best custom fit possible so you will enjoy your trike from the very first ride!

• Always perform a safety and maintenance check before you ride. Check bolts, brakes, tire inflation, steering, and all other components carefully. This only takes a few minutes and will help you learn more about your trike.
• Keep your trike in top condition.
• Always use safety equipment such as foot restraints (clips, straps), helmet, flag, hi-vis clothing, bell or horn, and lights.
• Ride in protected areas such as greenways and bike paths.
• Learn to ride and steer smoothly. Avoid over-braking and over-steering.
• Use extra caution around traffic and pedestrians. They may be distracted and not see you.
• Follow the rules of the road. Communicate to other drivers and use your good old common sense.
• Enjoy!

• Yes... this can happen and there can be MANY reasons.
• The bottom line is your drive train is designed to pedal forward. 
• If you feel the need to pedal backward occasionally, please do so gently and slowly to avoid putting heavy load on the chain and damaging the system when the chain drops. 
• Enjoy! Nobody ever experienced a woohoo moment while pedaling backwards anyway.

You may be a cycling pro... and then again you may be like most of us and occasionally need a reminder on the basics of smooth shifting. Here you go... 

• Always pedal while shifting.
• When learning to ride your trike, take it slow and concentrate on smooth shifting with the right shifter (rear cassette). Most riding conditions can be enjoyed with this shifter alone. The left shifter (front chain ring) can be explored once you are comfortable with the right shifter.
• While pedaling (with light to moderate pressure) shift one click at a time to make the pedaling resistance most comfortable and efficient. Avoid mashing with heavy pedal pressure during the shift. A slight momentary ease of pedal pressure during the shift is helpful.
• Anticipate your shift as you see large hills ahead and start the process so that you are properly geared as you start climbing. Your legs and derailleur will thank you.
• Ride comfortably and enjoy.
